Omelette or scrambled eggs make a filling and nutritious breakfast . Since it is rich in cholesterol, should be eaten daily. Takes about 20 minutes to prepare. Appliances: Cooking pan, gas stove, small vessel 2 medium size eggs (avoid eating eggs more than 1 week old) Turmeric (haldi) Oil - 1 teaspoon 1 small size onion 1 small size tomato 1-2 small green chilies (depends on how spicy you want it to be) or chili powder Coriander Salt to taste
Break and empty the eggs in the vessel. Add the turmeric, chili powder, salt and mix it thoroughly Slice the onion and tomato into fine slices. Heat the oil in the cooking pan and add onion and tomato. Cook till onions are light brown and tomatoes cooked. Add the egg mixture to the cooking pan and spread uniformly. Wait till the omelet becomes firm and turn it on the other side. If the omelet is non-uniform, you can break it into small pieces and will get scrambled eggs.
